CP5088-1 Shuttle Valve
The CP5088-1 shuttle valve is a means of feeding two input hydraulic systems into one output. The output pressure will be as the largest input. A typical usage to separate a hydraulic hand brake from the foot brake system is illustrated on the custom drawing found in the downloads folder.
IMPORTANT:
Foot brake and hand brake master cylinders must be fed from a common reservoir as indicated. When the brake is operated from one source, this valve will decay at a rate of about 6 Bars over 10 minutes. As such, it should not be used to park the car for long periods unattended.
